Meet the Team

What's in your head is just as important as what's on it

Hair is only a part of the aesthetic we choose for ourselves but it's the part we cannot always physically do ourselves. Your hair should help represent your vision of who you are and it is up to the stylist to help you articulate that goal.

I believe that one size never fits all. I want to get to know you, to not just embrace what makes you unique but to elevate it.

I am working to foster a safe and collaborative place for all people to find their version of beauty.

Hello, humans, Mel here!

I am a longtime hairstyle enthusiast and newly licensed barber. Hair is an interesting medium and I love how it can reflect and communicate our identities.

It is my strong belief that while expression of gender (whether binary or not) is a powerful tool and a right of all humans, there is nothing inherently gendered about any haircut, style or aspect of presentation. I’m thrilled to be part of Pageboy’s efforts to offer inclusive hair services in a space that feels safe and welcoming. If you have access needs please reach out to me at or visit the “contact us” section of our website. Looking forward to making some great cuts happen for y’all!

Please be aware that during your visit I may invite Rachel to check the cut at the end of the service. Pageboy is a collaborative space and I value Rachel’s expertise.
